Meals at Hope Ministries

At Hope Ministries, meals are more than food on a plate. They’re an entry point to transformation—providing nutrition, fellowship, and a sense of belonging for residents and our neighbors in need.
Every Meal is a First Step Toward Hope

Nourishment, Dignity, and Community at Hope

Every day, Hope Ministries serves three meals to residents and offers free lunch and dinner to anyone in the community—365 days a year.

For many, a meal at Hope is the first step toward healing. Sharing food in a safe and welcoming environment builds trust, opens doors, and provides the foundation for deeper care through housing, counseling, recovery, and job readiness programs.

Give What's Needed Most

The best way to keep our inventory stocked is through our Amazon Wishlist, updated regularly with the items we need most to serve residents and guests.

Donations may also be dropped off at 432 S. Lafayette Blvd., South Bend, daily between 8am–8pm. Our front desk staff will gladly provide a tax receipt.
"I came for a meal, but I found more than food. I found people who cared about me. That meal gave me the courage to take the first step toward getting help."
